frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about Bare Beans.
What makes Bare Beans different?
Upon opening a pouch you’ll notice a fresh, earthy smell - nothing artificial. You’ll see the natural colored bean with a texture firmer than mushy canned beans swimming in liquid. Our fully cooked, minimally processed beans need no draining and no can opener. Just open the pouch and eat or use in your recipe. There are no preservatives, no added salt, coloring or firming agents.
What’s on the ingredient list?
Cooked beans. That’s all.
Do Bare Beans need to be refrigerated?
Yes. There are no preservatives in Bare Beans. They must be refrigerated. Bare Beans have a 90-day refrigerated shelf life and can be frozen for up to one year. See use or freeze by date on each box.
Where do Bare Beans come from?
As fourth-generation farmers, we grow most of our beans on our family farms in Idaho and we source locally when necessary. All Bare Beans are non-GMO and grown in USA.
