Shipping Details (Read before ordering your next bundle!)

We want your Bare Beans to arrive fresh, cold, and ready to enjoy! Because our beans are a refrigerated product, we take extra care when packing and shipping every order.

How We Ship

Bare Beans leave our facility frozen in insulated packaging with frozen gel packs to help maintain a safe temperature during transit. Your beans may arrive refrigerated, partially frozen, or frozen. This is completely normal. Place them in the refrigerator when they arrive. Bare Beans can also be frozen for longer storage.

Shipping Schedule

To help prevent your order from sitting in transit over a weekend, we ship orders Monday through Wednesday only. Orders received after our Wednesday shipping cutoff will be held and shipped the following Monday.

Please keep holidays in mind, as carrier schedules may occasionally require us to adjust our normal shipping days.

Delivery Time

Orders are shipped using a 2-business-day delivery service. Once your order ships, you should typically receive it within two business days. Carrier delays due to weather or other circumstances outside our control may occasionally affect delivery timing.

P.O. & APO Boxes

Because our refrigerated shipments require expedited delivery, we cannot ship to P.O. or APO boxes. Please provide a physical street address at checkout.

Alaska & Hawaii

At this time, our standard ecommerce shipping is available within the contiguous United States only. We are unable to ship online orders to Alaska or Hawaii due to the additional transit time and requirements associated with keeping our product cold.

When Your Order Arrives

Please bring your package inside as soon as possible after delivery and refrigerate or freeze your Bare Beans promptly. Because the beans may be packed frozen, it is normal for them to arrive at varying levels of thaw.

Our Story

Dare to Be Bare

Bare Beans started with a single belief: you should decide what gets put into your food, not a manufacturer, not a label full of words you can't pronounce.

We took the humble bean, one of the most nutritious, versatile foods on earth, and asked a simple question: what if we just cooked it? No preservatives. No firming agents. No added salt. No mystery sludge. Just a bean, kettle-cooked the way it should be, and sealed fresh.

Farmer-owned

Rooted in our fourth-generation family farm in southern Idaho, Bare Beans are grown by us and sourced locally when necessary, reflecting our commitment to Non-GMO quality food made with care, integrity, respect for the land, and pride in the community we call home.

woman-owned

Bare Beans was founded by a woman who believed food could be simpler and better. Frustrated by long, complicated ingredient lists, she built Bare Beans from the farm to your kitchen with a commitment to real, wholesome ingredients. That commitment goes into every pouch.

indigenous-owned

Our founder is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa, and respect for the land is at the heart of everything we do. For every pound of Bare Beans sold online, we donate one pound to Indigenous Food Sovereignty programs across the U.S. and Canada. It's more than a commitment, it's who we are.

Minimally Processed from Field to Fork.

Our beans start on the farm and end up in your kitchen with the fewest possible steps in between. We kettle-cook every variety from scratch, seal them fresh, and ship them frozen for ultimate freshness that you can place directly into your refrigerator, so you get them the way they were meant to be, minimally processed, nutrient-dense, and ready to eat right out of the bag.

No can opener. No liquid to drain. No preservatives, firming agents, coloring agents, or added salt. One pouch replaces one can of beans, with nothing you didn't ask for and everything you actually want.
