Our Philosophy
At Bare Beans we produce a minimally processed product with a clean label.
You decide what gets added to your food, not us.

Woman owned
Founder and CEO, Michelle Huff launched Bare Beans in 2018 to bring value-added benefits to a crop already growing on her family’s farm. During her 18 years in the fresh produce industry, Michelle recognized the increasing demand for value-added foods. When she looked at the crops her fourth-generation farmer husband was growing, beans stood out as the opportunity that became Bare Beans.
-
Indigenous owned
Bare Beans is Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified and registered with the Intertribal Agriculture Council. Embracing the elements of the Medicine Wheel our mission is to grow Indigenous opportunity. In addition, every retail bag we sell, we donate the same to Indigenous food sovereignty initiatives.

Sustainability
What We Stand For
A few simple commitments that guide how we do business.
Best Farm Practices
We work to provide the healthiest product possible using best farming practices. We are a steward of soil health and conservation for today and tomorrow.
Sacred Balance
Michelle is a Minnesota native with family roots in North Dakota. She is an enrolled member of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa and is proud of her Indigenous ancestry. The Medicine Wheel is a sacred symbol in many Indigenous North American cultures used for spiritual growth, healing, and understanding life's interconnectedness, representing balance in the four directions across aspects like mind, body, spirit, emotion, seasons, and elements. The Medicine Wheel is used in everything from traditional practices to modern leadership and wellness models.
NON-GMO
Bare Beans are non-GMO verified. Currently there are no commercially produced or imported GMO beans in the USA and we plan to keep it that way.
