Ingredients

  • 10oz Pinto Bare Beans
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 15oz guacamole
  • 15oz sour cream
  • 15oz salsa
  • 1-2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cups olives, sliced
  • 1 Roma tomato, diced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, sliced

Prep

Refried Pinto Beans (Layer 1)

1. In a food processor, blend together pinto Bare Beans, 1 tsp of the taco seasoning, and water.

2. Blend until desired consistency.

Sour Cream (Layer 3)

1. Mix the rest of the taco seasoning packet into the sour cream.

Instructions

1. Spread even layer of refried pinto Bare Beans into dish. (We used an 8×8.)

2. Spread even layer of guacamole on top of refried beans layer.

3. Spread sour cream/taco seasoning mixture on top of guacamole layer.

4. Spread salsa on top of sour cream layer.

5. Sprinkle cheese, olives, tomato, and green onions on top of salsa layer.

6. Enjoy with tortilla chips!

Tip: Best if made ahead and refrigerated so flavors can marry!
