Slow Cooker Pinto Beans
This easy recipe for healthy slow cooker pinto beans is going to make you rethink every can of beans you’ve ever purchased!

Servings: around 12
4 10oz Pouches of Bare Beans Pinto Beans
2 teaspoons chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon cayenne
3 carrots, diced
3 celery stalks, diced
4 slices of bacon, cut into ½” wide strips
3 cloves garlic
2 bay leaves
1 medium red onion, diced
1 red or yellow bell pepper, diced
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Cover all beans with water in the slow cooker.
Combine with chili powder, cumin, paprika, carrots, celery, cayenne, bacon, garlic, bay leaves, onion, bell pepper, and some salt and pepper.
Cook on low for 4-6 hours.
