Garbanzo Blondie Bars

These blondie bars are made with our garbanzo Bare Beans for extra fiber and plant-based protein. It is a simple recipe to satisfy your sweet cravings while boosting nutrition – and yes, they taste amazing!
Ingredients:
10oz Garbanzo Bare Beans
1/3 cup any nut butter (we used peanut)
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/3 cup flour
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 chocolate chips
Prep Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ F
2. Ensure garbanzo beans are completely dry with no moisture.
3. Optional: Soften nut butter in microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to work with.
Instructions:
1. Add garbanzo beans, nut butter, maple syrup, and vanilla to a blender. Blend until smooth.
2. Add in baking soda, baking powder, salt, and flour to blender. Blend until fully combined.
3. Fold in chocolate chips. Optional: save some to sprinkle on top of the bars before baking.
4. Line an 8×8 baking dish with parchment paper.
5. Spread mixture evenly into parchment lined baking dish.
6. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
7. Let blondies cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into them. Enjoy!
