Bare Beans Garbanzo Pasta Salad

For a light, yet filling main dish or a delightful side dish, this garbanzo salad has you covered. It features our Bare Beans, making the perfect protein-packed addition to lunch, dinner or your weekend outdoor cookout or picnic. Fresh, light and perfect for a hot summer day.

 

Ingredients:

8 oz bowtie pasta, cooked according to package instructions, drained and cooled
1 bunch chopped, fresh basil
1 bunch chopped, fresh parsley
3 cloves, minced garlic
1 lemon, zested
1 lemon, juiced
1/2 cup grated or shredded parmesan
10 oz Bare Beans Garbanzos
1/4 cup olive oil
Splash red or white wine vinegar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Put cooled pasta into a mixing bowl.
  2. Add basil, parsley, garlic, zest, juice, cheese, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper to the bowl.
  3. Toss lightly.
  4. Refrigerate and serve chilled.
