Navy Bare Beans Dip with Lemon and Garlic

A refreshing twist on classic bean dip — zesty lemon, a hint of garlic, and silky navy Bare Beans. This ultimate light snack pairs perfect with veggies, crackers, or as a spread on your favorite sandwich!

Yield: Approximately 4 servings

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cup cooked navy Bare Beans

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juive

1/2 tsp lemon zest

1 small clove garlic

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/2 tsp dried parsley

Fresh ground pepper to taste

1-2 tbsp water if needed

Instructions:

  1. In a food processor or blender, pulse navy beans and garlic clove until they are broken up.
  2. Add in olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, and seasonings.
  3. Blend together until combined. If needed, add water to thin the dip and achieve desired consistency.
  4. Serve with veggies, crackers, or as a spread on a sandwich. Enjoy!
